Doctors Knife

As a knife wound to the finger looks like a few days later?
Open the other day my index finger got sliced with a knife, the doctor three days later to put silver nitrate on it to destroy the skin, which hung from it, she said, pain could end the same day and come back a week. I'm so much pain and it doesn't look like healing! The reason it did not get stitched up is because of the time during which you must go and if it is after 12 hours it too late. I was too late and, even if there was excessive tissue loss, I was hanging out stitches! So, because the doctor was the silver nitrate. But when she there was also still an open wound, which was torn off of gauze. It was burning as heck, and it still hurts and still have mud from the nitrate and blood mixed together. Is it bleeding like this and it is hurting bad, and if so how long?
If it is still is open, I would recommend returning to the doctor. If it starts to close, then it is good. Knife cuts on the finger sucks. One of my friends to reduce your debt off and can not afford doctors. I Patched it up to him with a liquid bandage.
